BaeBlu is a vegan company, except in the rare instance that we use beeswax (from happy bee farmers, no less). We are a cruelty-free Leaping Bunny Certified company. Unfortunately many makeup brands aren't there yet. "Each year, more than 100 million animals are killed in U.S. laboratories [for] chemical, [medical], food, and cosmetics testing." (Peta) Be part of the change and only shop with cruelty-free brands.

Natural Pigments + Clean Water

Manufacturing chemicals and synthetic dyes produce toxic runoff. Surrounding ecosystems and bodies of water can easily become polluted. When you buy products that use natural minerals, you reduce the demand for the nasty stuff. Reduction in production helps to save water and wildlife.
